Scoops at Great Wolf Lodge

When we were at Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City this week, I went to Scoops. Scoops is where you can get a manicure, a pedicure, or a facial. It’s only for kids. It is nice! When you walk in, it is cool. If you get your nails done, you get to choose a color and take the bottle home with you.

There’s a big bench that looks like an ice cream sundae, for pedicures. For manicures, you sit at a little table. You can choose your scent for the nail soaking – there is strawberry, chocolate, or vanilla. Also, you can choose your lotion rub, same scents. I chose strawberry. Shawnee was my manicurist and she was very nice and kind.

When it came time to paint my nails, there were three layers. The first was a clear base coat, then the color coat, and then a top clear coat. I chose sparkly red nail polish and I was able to take it home. The color looks like Dorothy’s shoes in the Wizard of Oz!

It was very relaxing and I enjoyed it.  When you are done, you get a bowl of ice cream!
